Luxury shower cleanser without the forest
The product says soft exfoliating cleanser which is a good description. I live in an area of hard water and the body wash is high quality so it does lather well and you only need a small amount. However I was under the impression that it was part of a forest bathing experience and infused with Forest Awakening Oil Blend. The smell is lemony but I cannot smell any cedar or pine or woody scent which would remind you of a forest. Hence only 3 stars.

So lovely to use
I love everything about this body wash. It smells so gorgeous and lathers up well. The exfoliating effect is mild but effective, and non-abrasive. It leaves my skin feeling very smooth and smelling lovely. It is on the expensive side for a body wash but using it feels like a real treat.

Exfoliation feels too mild
I got the set of the Hinoki minis, and this body wash was the least impressive of them all. If you've got skin that is very sensitive to abrasive exfoliators, then this might be for you. Personally, I found it miles too mild. Moreover, this cleanser won't lather much, which sparked a tendency to use a lot more product than I otherwise would have. The scent is quite strong, woody and perhaps a bit herbal- not particularly to my liking (however, my mother loves it - each to their own).

Nice but pricey
This is so nice, it smells divine, like a really expensive spa, it lathers nicely and my skin felt really soft and hydrated after using it. It is quite pricey so although it offers a holistic experience it’s not a product I would be able to use all the time. I would definitely repurchase and perhaps use as a pamper session, when I have time to appreciate it.
