On Sunday Feasts…

I’m a terrible cook but I love food! On Sundays we love delicious and hearty meals like my boyfriend’s signature dish, which is a big bowl of spicy vegetable pasta or a roast.

On Idyllic Weekends…

In my dream world, weekends would always be spent in Devon at my Mum’s house. There would be Sunday papers, eggs, delicious coffee and probably a Bloody Mary. All in my With Nothing Underneath shirt, of course. We always go on a dog walk and then we will usually pop into the pub for a glass of wine.

On Outdoor Exercise…

I try and exercise outside as much as possible rather than in the gym. I love running and boxing. Usually I try to go for a quick run around Brockwell park before work.

On A Positive Way To Start The Day…

As the founder of a start-up there are so many ups and downs, it can be really challenging. To stay positive, I try and ask myself, what am I grateful for today? While I’m lying in bed I’ll try and think about the positive things in my life and give thanks to those. That gives me the drive to get out of bed.

On Being Your Own Boss…

My alarm nearly always goes off at 7am, as I’m self-employed I need to be quite regimented with myself. If I don’t get up and out early then I end up worrying that I’m not making the best use of my time.

On Morning Rituals…

My boyfriend is in the army so if he’s away then I’ll send him a message as soon as I wake up. Then I’ll put on Radio 1 and make a big cafetière of coffee with oat milk. My office is in the Notting Hill area and I share an office space with some other small business owners, which creates a really nice and supportive environment. I aim to book any meetings for first thing in the morning and then will head into the office afterwards. I usually sit down at my desk around 11am.

On Revamping Her Skincare Routine…

One of my best friends is the Beauty Editor at Elle magazine and last year she totally revamped my routine. Before that I didn’t really do much, but now I’m quite strict. Every evening I’ll cleanse with Votary’s Cleansing Oil and then I’ll tone and moisturise too. I love Aesop’s Parsley Seed range and use both the toner and serum. My aim is to have glowy and dewy looking skin, so recently I’ve been using a vitamin C infused serum. I also love the Drunk Elephant’s B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum and the Lala Retro Whipped Cream, which is a good gentle moisturiser.

On Indulgent Baths…

When it’s time to wind down I’m all about the chilled vibes. For me, I love having a long hot bath complete with room sprays and candles. I love Aromatherapy Associates bath oils and Ren’s shower gels.  Herbivore’s Bath Salts are another favourite and then I’ll light Diptyque’s Lys Candle to set the mood.

On Confidence Boosting Treatments…

I love the Frank Body Original Coffee Scrub. I regularly exfoliate in the shower and then will apply a moisturiser all-over. Something that smells delicious and a bit sweet like Laura Mercier’s Fig Souffle Body Cream is my go-to. After doing that I instantly feel better.

On Haircare Rituals…

My hair is quite dry and I have highlights. I’ve just chopped it off into a bob so it looks a lot healthier and fresher now. I have a natural curl, so after a shower I’ll spritz on Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray to help define the curl a bit more. Once a week, I’ll apply a nourishing hair mask like Kiehl’s Olive Fruit Oil Deeply Reparative Hair Pak.

On A Podcast Addiction…

I listen to podcasts all the time, probably an unhealthy amount actually! I love The High Low, Conversations Of Inspiration and the Deliciously Ella podcast. I find Ella and her husband really therapeutic to listen to. On my way to work I always listen to some kind of start-up or founder podcast. My favourite book that I always recommend to people is Shoe Dog. It’s by the founder of Nike and is so inspirational.

On My Bedside Table…

I have my Votary Face Oil, a large glass of water and whatever novel I am reading at the moment. Something that is really cool on my bedside table is a rock that my friend bought me back from when they climbed Mount Everest! I also keep some Aesop Hand Cream to slather on before bed.

On Sleep…

I sleep walk, sleep talk and generally find sleep quite difficult – my boyfriend always jokes that I’m really bad in bed! I’m not very good at switching off, so I’m strict about no phones or blue light in the bedroom. Usually we’ll watch a crime drama in the evening and then read in bed. At the moment, we’re watching The Capture and we love Peaky Blinders. Or, if my boyfriend’s away I’ll listen to the Harry Potter audio tape. Stephen Fry’s soothing voice is the best form of escapism.
