Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but not great A big fan of Kevin Aucoin and the quality of the products is always on point. I was a little disappointed with this eye pencil however - as the colour is not that dark and the staying power isn't great. I will go back to my Mac eye pencil after this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Non smudge I have this Kevin Aucoin eye liner in brown and it wonderful. Seems to last forever, so fantastic value. Glides in smootly and the smudge end works really well. I use softly in the day and build up for evenings. The thing I love most is it dies not smudge in my lower lash line which many other eyeliners do.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Primatif is a long-lasting eyeliner with a special tip for perfectly blending lines and creating seductive smoky arrows. The soft texture of the pencil is evenly distributed over the skin, creating dense and rich color lines of the desired thickness, which are easily shaded without streaks or gaps in the shade, and then acquire amazing resistance for the whole day.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor colour payoff Disappointing. The pencil is quite hard and I struggle to get enough pigmentation - it comes out a very pale black rather than true black. Smudging with the other end results in the colour rubbing off even more, rather than any smudge effect. once applied, it does last a long time (albeit it applies faded in the first place).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could be better I got this in one of the Space NK goody bags a while ago. I had it in basic black. This is relatively soft but not so much on the inner corner of the eyes. I liked the tip as it doesn’t get so soft that is loses its shape. It’s easy to remove with cleanser and didn’t need a specific eye make up remover. The line was nice and sharp on top and easy to build. But it didn’t stay on the lower lid very long and smudged too. I’m not sold on this but I haven’t found another that I really like.
