I find most rose perfumes too sweet, but this is perfect for me - a bit of spice to leaven the sugar. It lasts all day, too, unlike many others. I wish Space NK stocked more of the Byredo range.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Abominablejelly from Beautiful and long lasting Fragrance is such a personal thing so difficult to review. This is not at all Turkish delight-ey, but a far lighter and more complex fragrance. It lasts well and actually develops into something quite different. I actually prefer it when it has been on for a while.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lady In Red from Warmth and delicacy! I bought this after trying a sample. The warmth which this eau de perfume effuses, together with the delicacy expected from a rose scent is quite addictive. A very modern version of walking through a rose garden on a sunny day, but with a touch of richness to allow lingering long after you leave the garden. It evokes a true feeling of luxury, femininity and uniqueness. Byredo does not disappoint, and I also bought the shower gel and travel hand cream to complement the scent and to soften my skin whilst, allowing an all over feeling of delicate freshness.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Smarta from Rose scent with a twist I received a discovery set of Byredo perfumes, containing Bal d'Afrique, Blanche, Gypsy Water, La Tulipe, Mojave Ghost and Rose of No Man's Land vials. Surprising to me, this one I used up first. It was not my favourite fragrance from the set, but I ended up reaching for it when I needed casual daily fragrance with a twist. Top notes (according to Fragrantica): Pink Pepper, Turkey Red Rose; Middle notes: Turkey Red Rose, Raspberry Bloom; Base notes: Papyrus, Amber. It is not the usual floral scent as the Amber gives it a more niche, sensual twist. Unfortunately on my skin it does not last more than 2-3 hours, so I will not buy the full size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Serenebeauty from A joy to wear Firstly, I love the backstory to this perfume. It was the first Byredo perfume I bought and it started my love affair with this brand. I'm not usually a fan of rose scents but this perfume is just so elegant, feminine and understated. It's a joy to wear.
