Nice but poor throw
The description of this makes me think it's meant to be similar to gypsy water, it is pleasant with woody and vanilla notes. However I found the throw disappointing which isn't the case with other byredo candles I have tried (biblioteque and tree house). For this reason I wouldn't repurchase.

Gorgeous gift
I bought this candle as a birthday present for a friend. It smells absolutely heavenly and is totally worth the high price point, as a little luxury. The scent is heady and rich, the packaging is chic and my friend is absolutely delighted with this candle. Want one for myself now.

Lovely scent but gives me a headache
Beautiful warm and creamy fragrance, don't let the cold scent put you off as it's much more interesting when lit. Unfortunately I have had to (reluctantly) regift this candle as it gave me an awful headache. I have had the same problem with other Byredo scents so there must be something in them that doesn't agree with me - I suspect it's whatever they use for their vanilla note.

Smells beautiful
I bought this a couple of months ago, in the height of lockdown so I could create a really nice home-office environment. I am a fan of musky, smoky smells and this candle is just perfect. Burns evenly and smells heavenly, it also looks really nice on my desk.
