A good seasonal choice
I really like this as an alternative to some of the more ‘traditional’ autumn winter scents. Warm, spice but not too intense, aniseed, orange. Scent throw good but not as strong as Biblioteque. A good size for the price. Burns well and evenly. Would recommend.

Great single wick candle that burns for over 30 hours with no soot. Scent is just wonderful, you can detect all the hints and scents. scents will fill up the entire room, smells of luxury and is long lasting, not too overpowering either. great for an individual purchase or as a gift

Did not get an even burn
I am big fan of luxury candles and know how to burn them to get the best out of them, so I did everything right but still could not quite get an even burn, which is shame as it meant some wax was left wasted. The scent however, was pretty unique and amazing, lots of comments from visitors during Christmas, so that is a plus.

Underwhelmed
The presentation of this candle is truly stunning, the sleek glass vessel and the unusual black wax. The boxed presentation is also beautiful and I loved receiving this as a gift. The initial scent pre burn is beautiful, such a wintery but yet unusual scent. If this was a perfume I’d buy the 100ml in an instant, it’s such a beautiful scent. Byredo website states: Top: Anise, Bitter Orange Heart: Ginger, Clove, Beeswax Base: Cedarwood, Bran I get all the top notes pre burn, however the scent throw when lit is very minimal, I love byredo perfumes and I really expected more from this. I walked into a room and my partner had lit it and I didn't even notice the scent. The candle also tunnels slightly, to the point where the candle won’t stay lit as the wax pools around the wick, which I never expected from a high end candle.

Beautiful winter scent
This is a rather warm scent that is perfect for colder days. It smells woody and spicy, and filled up a large space very quickly. It is so pleasant and cosy to burn this in the evenings as it gives an instantly relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. The package is simple and elegant, absolutely love it.
