Description

Conjure up the tantalising aromas of a lush pine forest in this evocatively scented Byredo Woods Candle, which diffuses a delicate woody fragrance throughout the room whenever the candle is lit.

Inspired by Ben Gorham’s walks in the woods of Sweden, this candle combines a blend of scents to transform a space without becoming overpowering. The black glass holder conveys an impression of elegant simplicity to unobtrusively enhance the room’s décor.

At its heart, the candle has the rich scent of Tuscan leather mingling with a sprinkling of white jasmine petals. This is supported by the smoky aroma of cedarwood with a touch of ambroxan and lifted by a delicate raspberry, bringing to mind the woodlands in their natural glory, whatever the season.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this scent I really love this candle (along with Byredo's Tree House and Cotton Poplin). I find that the cedarwood and leather notes along with a smokiness are quite prominent prior to burning the candle, but these don't come out as strongly once it's lit. As other reviewers have commented the scent turns out quite light, but still pleasant. I prefer Tree House to Woods, but I still think this is a lovely candle and I'd certainly purchase it again.

You may as well buy an unscented candle, I was very disappointed as I thought I’d really enjoy this scent. But feel as though I’ve wasted my money. Definitely a Byredo product I wouldn’t purchase again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exquisite Fragrance This fragrance is deep, dark and woody. The fragrance is slightly smokey and heavy. However when burning, created a light ambiance. It’s lighter than other Byredo fragrances, but as others have previously said, completely changes the atmosphere of the room.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Magical... This candle seems to change the mood in a room without pumping out a strong fragrance. It's a bit woody and earthy...maybe leathery. Not sure. Its not a strong perfume but it does definitely change the fragrance of a room quite well. I'll definitely repurchase.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Reminiscent of Feu de Bois I really love this candle. The scent is woody, earthy and warm and it smells like a campfire. It reminds me a lot of Diptique's Feu de Bois, however it is a lot more subtle and definitely not as prominent. I don't think that I would repurchase it as the scent is just not strong enough.
