Best of the best foundation.
I really wanted to hate this foundation because of the price, but this foundation is worth every penny (in my opinion) I have no idea what or how this foundation does what it does it's akin to alchemy. It makes my skin look like an angel has wept on my skin it's astonishing and I have more compliments on my skin when I'm wearing this foundation which is now every day. It perfects, smoothes and somehow filters your skin and is incredibly long wearing and I have found that less is more when it comes to this foundation.

great quality but could not find the perfect shade
I had a sample of this foundation and it works really well for dry / mature skin, the quality is very impressive. My only problem is that I wish there were more shades in this range as I need a light/neutral-type colour and the shades in this range are either too light for me or have golden undertones, so could not find a shade that worked for me (having used a foundation from ranges that have 30 to 40 shades, I have to say that such diversity really works if you want a perfect match and if you neck/face are of slightly different shades)

THE PERFECT PAIRING
I've used this foundation on and off for about 15 years now in colour creme peche which is light with warm undertones. It gives a soft matt finish and the concealer colour works perfectly with the foundation. The concealer is very hydrating so perfect around the eyes. I'm not convinced of the caviar skin care benefits but it is a beautiful product to use.

Amazing foundation
I first tried the La Prairie foundation over 10 years ago to cover up my pigmentation and break outs. It really is an amazing full coverage foundation that blends into the skin seamlessly and is really hydrating. I use it on and off when I feel like a splurge as it's so expensive. If you have the money - definately worth trying.

Great for dry skin
I first tried this about 8 years ago when my skin was not as dry as it is now and I didnot really appreciate all the effects it claims. Now as my skin is maturing, it works perfectly from all aspects including the coverage, hydration and sun protection. It's a bit difficult to find the perfect color though. I'm really glad to re discover this foundation!
