Have they changed the formula?
This was my all time favourite foundation. When I purchased it for the first time I fell in love. It was perfect and would give perfect coverage whilst sitting beautifully all day from 6am until 10pm. However, I’ve recently repurchased and the new one doesn’t last at all on my nose (it just seems to cling to my pores and completely disappear) and just looks terrible on the skin. My skin hasn’t changed and I’ve been using the exact same skincare products.

Good shade range but not for me
I wanted to love this as I love other products in the range and have friends that raved about this but it wasn’t right for me. It did not sit well on my skin as it seemed to go patchy very quickly and I couldn’t get it to layer well to increase coverage. It may be my skin and technique but sadly it didn’t live up to the hype for me.

GREAT FOR SENSITIVE/COMBINATION SKIN
I agree with previous reviewers, this foundation is really good for sensitive skin, and especially combination. I have struggled for years to find the right foundation, mainly due to texture, type of ingredients used, and shades available. I was looking for something that was not too heavy, but at the same time not too liquid as my skin doesn't seem to like that, and this foundation is more of a foam/cream. I checked the ingredients and it doesn't contain fragrance, alcohol etc. so it doesn't irritate my skin. And even better, I finally found the right shade for my fair skin (I was matched in store to the shade 3N, which is a neutral that is slightly peachy). Really happy with it!

Great shade range for pale skin
I really struggle finding a suitable shade of foundation - shade 2N is not only very pale but neutral / leaning slightly olive. This may be one of the best matches I’ve found as the shade is very hard to come by. The foundation itself is light-med coverage and sits well on my sensitive skin with mild rosacea. It applies nicely and hasn’t aggravated my skin at all. It also looks very natural and isn’t too dewy or drying at all. Really liking this one

Perfect, buildable foundation for pale skin!
I went in store to purchase the Lisa Elridge foundation but the coverage was too heavy for what I wanted, so I asked staff what they would recommend and was colour matched for this and a Nars one. I almost just went with the Nars without the colour match, but I’m so glad I agreed for the lady to do a comparison of the two on each side of my face. Honestly, I’ve walked past Rose Inc every time I’ve been in-store and what a mistake that was! I’ve always struggled to find a foundation for my pale skin that isn’t too full coverage, but isn’t as light as a tinted moisturiser…well I’ve found it! The consistency is so lovely, really creamy, moisturising, soaks into the skin and leaves a really beautiful finish - it is mattifying but also somehow feels illuminating at the same time. I was so happy with it and I’ve continued to be happy since buying it and applying at home. Both my Mum and Sisters have each asked me what I’ve got on my face, commenting on how lovely my skin looks and how natural the colour is. I would say to anyone to go in and get colour matched for this and try a sample of it because I guarantee you’ll be back. I’m so impressed that I’m going to give the concealer and cream bronzer a try next! 5 ⭐️
