Rated 5 out of 5 by Tiggy25 from Best for Combination Skin As someone with dry/oily skin, I struggle to find primers that don't dry out the skin too much whilst also mattifying and smoothing its appearance. I've been using this primer since 2015 when I was a teenager and still find it to be the best for my sensitive combination skin. It doesn't have any real fragrance and has a sort of balm-type appearance; you only need a pea-sized amount that NEEDS to be warmed on the fingertips before being applied to the skin. You can either dab it onto where you need it most (i.e., T-zone), mix it in with your moisturiser for a more blurring effect, or just have a go at spreading it all over the skin in sections with warm fingers. I find that my skin looks best with this mixed into a bit of moisturiser and afterwards maybe a small amount concentrated on my nose or forehead. Some people here have mentioned it pilling, or issues applying foundation afterwards; this is very much a mix of skin type compatibility or application issues. It can be trial and error and I rate this product so highly because I am used to how it behaves and find it more malleable than most other products. You can even apply this product on top of foundation (by dabbing it on gently) for a matte effect. Be careful with how much you use, its best after being almost melted in the fingers before being applied, but if you dab/apply all over your face be careful not to use too much being over-cautious: as it is balm-like I find that the skin can feel a bit too heavy. That is why I find it easiest to be mixed with moisturiser and applied that way. I love Becca and this primer and don't know what I'll do when they stop making it because it is literally my favourite primer and the best I've ever found.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Amzee from Maybe you could try It is a very good primer and is effective on oily skin. It covers your pores and keeps your skin matte for few hours. This primer makes my foundation look smooth and flawless. But you need to work very quickly to spread it out, otherwise it makes foundation look cakey. So maybe it might work for you or not

Rated 4 out of 5 by Heyma11orie from Good but not everyone cup of tea I love Becca products and have used various primers over the years. Primer is something i personally switch up as i'm always looking for something to control my oily t-zone. This primer gives a matte look which is my personal preference. It keeps my make up on throughout the work day with minimal break up. It did take me a few tries to be happy with the application of this product and the less is more method really works well here!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Zjuuu from Nice I like this primer a lot. It’s very matte which is my favorite look. This works perfect and keeps my make up look smooth all day. This product can’t be applied like a normal primer or moisturizer, you need a very tiny amount and warm it up between your fingers and tap it in sparingly in your t zone !!!Yess I recommend it to try !!!
