I get the hype

I really didn’t think I’d like this mascara and the first few times I used it, I hated it. But when I got used to how fibre-y it looks on the wand, actually it’s pretty great. I have hooded eyes and it doesn’t smudge, it doesn’t flake badly (even in a sweaty club) and it does really add some volume. It’s even easy to remove. Is it super wow? Maybe not, but I seem to be converted regardless.

Nice for daytime
I quite like this mascara, it’s nice for daytime where as it cut each left individually for a natural look, but you can’t really build it up as it does clump if you do so. The bristles on the wand so they do every lash as you’re able to get right into the route of your eyelashes, I find the wand is specifically good for Lower lashes. I quite like the tube as well, it’s quite discreet and not bulky in design, rather it’s sleek and I love the purple deep colour of the wand for some reason. I do have quite long lashes, that are very fair.

I purchased a mascara after falling in love with their eyeliner. What a delightful surprise. This mascara gives you that natural yet sophisticated look. It doesn’t leave lumps of product along the way making your eyelashes look like legs of an insect (yuk indeed)

Crying in more ways than one!
Another Surratt product that sadly hasn’t lived up to expectations. The results themselves are meh. But even worse than that, my eyes have been feeling incredibly gritty and through a process of elimination it’s down to this product. There is even a bizarre film that forms on the surface of my eyes - I think an effort to block the fibres getting in - and an optometrist has ruled out any underlying medical issue. Unfortunately I did not start using this immediately after purchasing it, so I’m past the timeframe for an exchange. Aaargh! The tears!
