Nasty smell
Bought for my winter dry face and it has not helped at all. The smell is not pleasant and the cream is way too thick, it reminds me of nappy cream!! Would not buy again. Paid a lot for it and am disappointed. I was under the impression that Aesop lead a brand that was a treat to the senses but this one is just nasty.

Gentle Cleanser
A gentle cleanser that smells very luxurious and high end. Very gentle on the skin but it is a shame it is so expensive as I won't be using this everyday. Good to buy if it is on offer. Lovely packaging and nice materials. Very nice treat to have. Good present too.
Great everyday cleanser
I have been using this cleanser for several years and I still love it. As I have combination skin, I don’t find the cleanser drying and I like the clean “squeaky” feeling it gives my face after. It’s also great for sensitive skin or breakouts, and it’s a lovely calming smell. I would say that it’s not great at removing eye make-up, so I have another cleaner I use at night in these situations.

A bit over-priced for everyday
I tried this as part of a travel set and really loved the smell and fresh feel. However, while I have invested in a full size Aesop toner, I did not feel I could justify paying double the price of other good facial cleaners like Kiehls especially as my teenage son steals my cleanser and uses it quite liberally!

Lovely fresh scent
A little goes a long way with this fresh, herbaceous gel cleanser. Whilst it isn't the most pocket friendly price it does last for a long time even with daily use. It lightly foams and did not irritate my sensitive skin, whilst also gently cleansing my skin.
