Tried it….
I hadn’t used any products from this brand before, but was in need of a new daytime moisturiser. This is nice, it’s extremely hydrating so would definitely be more suited to those with drier skin. I found it a little too heavy on my combination greasy skin. It’s a good cream, super hydrating, easily absorbed with a nice scent, but too much for my skin.

Thick, nourishing cream
I received this as a sample to try out. It's got quite a thick consistency - more like a night cream really. I had to warm it up in my hand a bit to make it apply best. It did keep my skin hydrated throughout the day and I liked the light botanical fragrance. If you prefer a lighter cream then this is not for you, but if you want a decent splodge of hydration then it does the job.

I wanted to love this
as I have skin that is both very dry and sensitive (especially as it is cheaper than my usual choices), but it does not quite get there for me. I had a (requested) sample and this is a fluid moisturiser that is more oil-rich than it seems. It initially absorbed well and seemed to give enough nourishment, though left a tacky feel to the skin (I don't usually wear makeup, so this is an issue for me). Sadly after 1-2 hours the skin over my cheekbones felt tight and dry (but was still tacky), so I had to add another moisturiser on top. If your dry skin is not very dry, this might work better for you than for me. I would try it again when the weather is not so cold, but I already have lighter weight moisturisers without the tacky feel this left. I'd rather pay the extra for Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream which works far better for really dry skin (I have bought this for a couple of years). It is more expensive, but one application lasts me for hours without needing a replenishment. For reference, in the winter months I currently use Magic Cream or Bader Rich Cream (if I have it from an advent cal. or gwp).

Bouncy skin
I had a sample of this with an order and I’m really impressed. It left my skin feeling super hydrated and bouncy. My make up went on beautifully after and my skin has continued to feel lovely all day. Will definitely look at purchasing this now. A great find. I used it in combination with the serum from the same brand.
