A reasonable treatment.
I received a sample of this serum recently, so my review is based on initial impressions and not a long term view. I found the treatment was very easily absorbed and did not affect my sensitive skin, which is always a bonus. It left my skin feeling very sticky and had a slightly sour smell, neither are particularly attractive features! However, if you’re looking to add another layer to your skin care regime, then this treatment isn’t too expensive and a little goes a long way. It’s pretty good, but not remarkable.

Pleasantly surprised
I received a sample of this so can't comment on any long term usage. However, you only need a small amount so it goes quite a way. This is a very light serum which is quickly absorbed. I wasn't really expecting much from it, but it was surprisingly hydrating.

Extra hydration
Really love the Fresh essence. I was previously using the Tachi essence, which while I absolutely loved, it unfortunately came with a hefty price tag. The fresh one is much more affordable. I like to use this in the morning after cleansing with Eve Lom balm and before applying Sunday Riley CEO serum and moisturiser. I feel like it adds an extra hydration layer and helps my products soak in.

lovely product
I had a sample of this product so would not comment on how effective it is with pores (not much change for me but I acknowledge there may be improvements if you use this product e.g. for a month). I used it as an extra layer before moisturiser and it did not make my skin shinier or drier (I have oily skin so any extra layer has to be justified), but the best use of it (for me) would be for a lotion mask in the evening before the night cream, I think this is when the benefits of this essence could be more pronounced

I wasn’t expecting much, but I was so wrong. I use immediately after cleansing and it leaves my skin feeling fresh and well hydrated. I was advised to push into the skin rather than rub and I think this enhances the impact of the product. Would definitely buy again.
