Effective moisturising face oil
I've been using face oil for a few years as a first step to my morning and night time moisturising routine. This is my first time using Farmacy and I purchased this oil off the back of its high star reviews. I'm not disappointed - it deeply moisturises and my skin looks plumper and smoother after just one night and morning use, but the texture is surprisingly thick and sticky compared to the other brands I've used. It almost feels like putting thinner honey on your face and you do need to use a bit more than a thinner oil to ensure it covers the whole face and neck (although it spreads further/easier with warm hands). I don't think you'd be able to apply makeup over this for at least 30 mins to an hour until it fully absorbs - I haven't tried layering with my SPF moisturiser or applying make up yet but its rare that face oil affects that part of my skin/face routine. I'm happy with the overall result so far and I love that it's multipurpose (use on hair ends/add to foundation for a glow etc) but not sure I'll get used to the texture and how long it needs to absorb, hence the loss of a star in my review.

Smells good enough to eat
The second product I’ve tried from this brand and again a big fan! This oil literally smells like you are lathering honey on your face and it also has a thicker consistency than I was expecting, so you need to use a little bit more than a lighter texture oil to ensure you can cover whole face. In terms of results, my skin feels incredibly plump and hydrated after just a couple of uses, so I look forward to seeing longer term results.

HOLY GRAIL PRODUCT
Amazing, love this oil so much. I have oily skin and this works beautifully with it. Doesn’t leave it feeling greasy. I either mix a few drops into moisturiser or apply directly to skin. Sinks in beautifully doesn’t pill like other oils I’ve tried have. Has a very subtly honey like smell to it. I am on my 3 rd bottle, it lasts a long time but also not so that it’s going to run out its expiration. I will forever buy this oil and recommend to anyone looking for a gentle oil to help moisturise. I use this all year round.

Clean oil
I love the ingredient list with no synthetic fragrance, parabens, phthalates or mineral oil or any other nasties for that matter. It’s a good price point too and feels very luxurious, I use it at night to prevent retinol drying my skin. I’ve taken a star off as there isn’t a power house ingredient used and for us ladies over forty there needs to be!
