For dry skin
However, this concentrate is the one I like a lot. It sinks right into the skin, and you don't feel like frying an egg on your face afterwards. Kiehls is underrated in my humble opinion. I mean, it's been around for a hot minute so clearly, they are doing something right. The packaging on this product is stunning and it is worth the price point as you only need a few drops to pat into your face. I look stunning bare faced with this on which is like Jesus turning water into wine .... a miracle. Not putting myself down. Just stating facts. This product takes my pale, typically dry skin and elevates its natural beauty.

Just ok
I received a sample of this in a recent gift with purchase and brought it with me on a trip. Maybe it’s just me, but it didn’t surprise or impress me in any way. Whilst it did sink into my skin easily, my skin felt dry afterwards and I found myself either using a lot of it to really feel hydrated, or using a moisturizer on top so my skin wouldn’t be completely dried out in the morning. I also didn’t see any unique results. It was nice to try, but I’ve used other night oils that have been better for my skin.

Treat at bedtime
Love this moisturising serum/ oil. It sinks in to the skin beautifully and I apply this after a retinol to add moisture back into my skin. I find that I can vary the amount I use between summer and winter, but doesn’t leave my skin greasy. Not sure if this would be the case with combination skin. I’ve never used the alternative leading brand, but don’t feel I’ve missed out on anything.

Much needed night recovery
This serum has performed very well. I needed something which gives enough rich nourishment without being just too much on my very fine skin. I like to alternate it with other night moisturisers, according to how I feel. It has a very light texture and a delicate smell, which I enjoy, and it doesn't irritate my face at all.
