The Ordinary AHA + BHA Peeling Solution combines 30% alpha hydroxyl acids, which exfoliate the top layers of the skin, and 2% beta hydroxyl salicylic acid, which works deeper to unclog pores, helping to minimise the look of blemishes and uneven texture.
The treatment is infused with Tasmanian pepperberry to help reduce the irritation that can occur with acid use. The addition of hyaluronic acid works to hydrate the skin for a comfortable feel. Clean face and wait for skin to dry. Do not use on wet skin. Apply evenly across face and neck using fingertips, avoiding the eye area. Leave on for no more than 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Avoid the eye contour and contact with eyes both during application and rinse off.
This low-viscosity solution is intended to be used as a masque. Do not leave on for longer than 10 minutes. It is not recommended to use more than twice per week. Contact of the product with the skin must be of limited frequency or duration.
If irritation occurs, cease use and consult a physician. Use only as directed on unbroken skin. Patch testing prior to use is advised. Keep out of reach of children.

Too strong for me
I have been using this product for a while now, however, since starting tretinoin on a nightly basis, I found that it was drying out my skin too much. On advice from my dermatologist, I switched to The Ordinary lactic acid instead, which is much gentler.

Strong but you see the results
This is quite a potent formula and you can definitely feel it while it is on your face. I have only ever used it once a week and worked up from 6 minutes per application to 8 minutes per application. The next morning my skin looks visibly better and feels much less congested so I would recommend despite this slight warning. However, I might try a few other less potent options first to see if I can achieve a similar effect without the potential disruption to my skin barrier.

Decent chemical exfoliant
This is not for the faint hearted or those whose skin barrier isn't in fighting good shape. The colour alone is frightening and looks like you've been for a particularly bloody session if microneedling. I applied a thin layer to my face avoiding lips and eyes approx once per week for no more than 10mins each time. Definitely not suitable for everyone and this one can easily leave you with a red chemical burn if you leave it on too long or your skin is especially sensitive. I finished the bottle but won't be in a rush to repurchase.

Easy and safe to use
As someone who tries all sorts of brands this is a good one. This solution makes your skin look and feel fresh and glowy. Highly recommend this product and most other products from this brand. I used to use gritty exfoliates every day because of my skin type however I use this once or twice a week instead. Highly recommend.
