Rated 4 out of 5 by mimidu from Efficient I got this after getting tired of other Vitamin C products that oxidized really quickly and/or irritated my skin on application. This stays fresh much longer than other types of Vitamin C, and it didn’t irritate my skin, even if I could feel a tiny little stinging on my most sensitive days. I took away one star because the consistency is a little oily and takes a while to sink in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by bis14 from Does what it says on the tin I have used a number of the vitamin C serums from the ordinary, and have enjoyed using this one the most. Whilst it is more expensive than the other products from this brand, which I believe is because the way they extract the vitamin C and ensure it is stable is more complicated than in the other products, you can see the difference as this serum doesn't oxidise like other vit C serums I have tried. I don't find it harsh on my skin, it skins in well and though it is nothing fancy, it does what it says!

Rated 5 out of 5 by genesis from Affordable and Gentle I have been using this EEA serum for about 3 months now, and I have noticed gradual improvements in my hyper-pigmentation. The improvement wasn't drastic, but it did help with my acne scars. I liked the oily texture as it felt more hydrating, and it was also very gentle. This is a very stable and effective vitamin c derivative, so I found the price affordable in that regard. I will be repurchasing it, but be mindful that to see effects you have to consistently use it for a couple of months.

Rated 4 out of 5 by valkus from Simple vit C serum I always try to use vitamin C in my daytime routine. I've tried all The Ordinary Vitamin C products, I think, and all the serums seemed pretty much the same to me. They all have an oily texture even though they are not based on oil. I think they all gave me a gradual effect over time that I didn't notice when I was actually using the product so I think they are quite nice.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Mimi1122 from Poor texture Like many other products in this line the texture leaves a lot to be desired. For me I do want something to feel pleasant enough, no luxury needed, just comfort. This feels so greasy and strange. Never felt like it absorbed and did leave me quite red... this form of LAA is supposedly more irritating even though it’s more stable.
