Great option for sensitive skin
If you have sensitive skin, this is a great retinol to start out with! It is really gentle and you can gradually build up the usage. The texture is very smooth and works great when you are sandwiching it with other skincare products because it does not pill at all.

Chic packaging
Summer Fridays is a very elegant and chic brand especially their packaging is so cool and minimalistic which I like I like a good packaging but sometimes too much pretty looking products I can't keep using regularly as unconsciously I want them to last long so I keep them stored instead of using them which isn't the purpose of skincare about the product I thinks its nice very nice but for retinol I like using tretnoin even though that's more irritating but I am sticking to that one for now as I think it has more data behind it to support the anti aging claims

not very effective
Having used up the whole bottle, I can say I will not repurchase the midnight ritual retinol serum. The texture is ok, it seems good but it just doesn't deliver any results. It seems extremely weak and for 85€ for 30 ml I want something actually effective.

Ok
I was not really keen to add additional retinol to my current ritual but I couldn't resist, as always. I gave it a good go, used Regularly for few weeks but my skin seem not to like it. It seems as irritated me in rather annoying way. I know that retinol usually does but other seems much better tolerated with equal results.

Not sure who it's meant to be for
Quite odd not to have the retinol percentage on the packaging, but it seems to be quite a gentle percentage. This serum is okay but it's a very steep price considering what the product is. I'm not sure if it's meant to be for beginners, for intermediate users, advanced, etc? No idea. For an introduction to retinol there are plenty out there that work just as well without this sort of cost.
