Space NK Saved Me Money
I had a delayed reaction to this serum. Cheekbone area is swollen and flaky as the percentage of even a C derivative was too strong for me in this serum. However, I am grateful that Space NK granted my request for only a sample because of this very reason. They have saved me £69 for which I am very grateful (hence the high rating for the Reigate store, not the serum).

Nice texture
It’s a great vitamin C that is effective without being irritating on the skin. It’s a bit thicker than the skinceuticals serum so it doesn’t spread as easily, but given it’s more affordable I’ll continue to repurchase this one. It layers well under makeup and doesn’t have a strong scent which I appreciate.

Super irritated skin
Loved the C Tetra so thought I’d try this next but what a mistake that was. It’s a thick, oily consistency which I didn’t like much. I don’t have sensitive skin and I’m used to using vit C so I started using it once a day. After a couple of days I noticed that my skin had become all rough. After that it started to break out big time in a combination of spot and tiny blisters and then gradually the skin started to peel off. Took about a week and a half for my skin to return to normal and took a lot longer for the scarring from the breakouts to go. Maybe I went at it too hard - used too much or used it too frequently - but it really didn’t agree with my skin at all. Be warned.

Verdict is still out!
I really wanted to like this product, but I'm not sure I can see any effect. I have used other Vit C serums in this range and thought they were nicer. It has a much more sticky oily consistency and the smell isn't the greatest, but that doesn't bother me. I use daily in the morning and will continue to do so until it had gone, but will then go back to a different one. I think this is quite expensive for something that I am not seeing the benefits from.
