I have been using this serum for a pretty long time now. it soothes my sensitive skin, repairs the barrier and reduces redness. I have come back to it many times.It is not a miracle in a bottle but if you suffer from redness, allergies and burning it has a gentle hydrating and healing quality.
I like it
This serum feels nourishing and I like the fact that I’m not clogging my skin up when I use it. My skin definitely tends in the dry and red side so something like this which helps soothe is perfect. You don’t get a beautiful scent with it, but that’s because it’s fragrance free so as not I cause irritation.
Nice serum
This is a nice serum to use since even though it is quite oily, it sinks in quickly into the skin. Skin looks plump and hydrated after use. The scent is my least favourite part since it reminded me of broccoli and kale. I wouldn’t repurchase it, but if it was in a kit or an advent calendar I would definitely use it again.

I actually have sensitive skin and found it did not irritate it at all. It also did not seem to really do anything in terms. My lines still looked exactly the same. To me it is just a nice smelling oil that takes some work to absorb into the skin and provides some hydration.
You need to try the whole range
I have used this serum and range before and really loved the effects - visibly plumping and making me look refreshed.I think it has to be used in combination with the Super Seed oil to really see an improvement in tone and texture. The ingredients are lovely and I like the packaging and ethos of Votary. It is pricey, but if you can - try the range together rather than buying individual items as otherwise you might not experience the full power of each product.
