Great SPF
This is a great SPF, though in recent years it's been overtaken by better formulations. But it still does the job and is particularly great during the winter months as it's so moisturising you don't need a dedicated moisturiser underneath it. It doesn't irritate the eyes and doesn't have that awful chemical smell that some SPFs do.

Great spf protection
Currently my favourite SPF -works really well underneath makeup. I used it even on a day out following a chemical pilling and my skin was well protected! Note to everyone: you MUST apply SPF even though your foundation has SPF incorporated. The amount of foundation you’d need to use to get the benefit of its spf would be ridiculous!!

I prefer the aqua gel SPF
I’ve used the Kiehls Aqua Gel SPF before and really liked it, but mistakenly bought this one. It was…..fine, but I far prefer the aqua gel SPF. This pretty creamy and moisturising, so good for dry skin people like me. I didn’t see a white cast, but I am pretty fair. It did take a while to soak in, so you need to leave a while before heading out. But it didn’t always play well with my foundation and I would get pilling, and I found it stuck in my eyebrows and my hairline. Hard to use the recommended amount to achieve sun protection and avoid the clagging in eyebrows and pilling.

I always buy Kiehls Ultra Light Daily UV Defense SPF 50. It’s great for your skin, goes on easily and doesn’t interfere with other make-up. Incredible formula and lasts ages. You only need a small amount to cover your face and neck. Highly recommended.
