Settles in lip creases
Love the packaging, really luxurious especially with the magnetic closure. However, I found the formula to be quite drying, it settled in my lip creases and I've never noticed that with other lipsticks. Nice with gloss or balm over it but would like to wear it alone.

Not a love affair
I loved this brand’s primer and eyeshadow palettes - I have all three - and wanted to love the lipsticks, but I won’t be buying another. The colour was flattering, but the matte formulation was a little too drying and, although it lasted well, not well enough to make up for the feel.

I bought this lipstick to go with my Vieve liner in Bark, as I was looking for more brown shades to add to my collection. The formula on these lipsticks is nice and creamy, with a longlasting finish. The colour is beautiful - a cool-toned light brown on my fair skin tone. I did buy the special packaging, as I preferred it to the usual component.

No!!
Having tried other products from Vieve, I was so excited about buying the Modern Matte Lipstick. I ordered it in shade Cupids Kiss. I didn't like the colour when it arrived as it looked different from the one displayed. I went ahead and tried it anyway. I didn't like the texture at all. Overall a disappointing experience.
