clogged pores
i used this for a number of months to give the product a chance. instead of the glowing skin i was hoping for i had an increase in the number of clogged pores and closed comedones, the smell of the oil is also not very appealing however the product contained no artifical fragrance which i would say works out as a benefit for many. perhaps for those with dry skin this would work well, however for my oily skin girlies, i would pass.

Perfect facial oil
This facial oil is perfect and I’ve definitely noticed a difference in my skin in terms of it feeling a lot more hydrated as well as the pigmentation slightly improving. . It’s also really good over the top of overnight acid facial treatments. Definitely very good value for money.

All good things, even for oily skin
I’ve had this oil for a few months now and I can’t think of any reason to dislike it. I have oily skin, so I don’t use this every day, but when it’s that time of the month my skin gets especially dry and then I can use it more frequently. Even so, I once ran out of my typical moisturizer and used this in place and I’ve found that it seems to almost stop oil production somehow, so my skin feels baby soft and smooth without extra shine. I think the Rosehip Oil is great for all skin types, and I’m thoroughly and pleasantly surprised by how well it works even on oily skin. I’m also trying to use it up as much as I can so it doesn’t go rancid on me before I can finish it, so I use it as a cuticle oil at night before bed and I’ve also found that my nails grow stronger and faster, though I know that’s not the oil’s intended purpose. I also really like the scent, it’s nice and earthy and smells, idk, REAL, not like chemical-y or like a perfume, which I greatly appreciate as someone with a strong sense of smell. Please never change or discontinue this product! I love all of the products from The Ordinary that I’ve gotten, you guys never disappoint!

Hydrating Face Oil
I love this face oil - it's hydrating and makes your skin glow. I like using it on a evening with a massage or gua sha. It feels gentle on my sensitive skin. The price point is really good and you don't need to use lots of it. I highly reccomend for anyone looking for an affordable face oil.
