Unsure with the results
I've been using this for a couple of months now and like many other reviewers, I am left a bit unsure of how I feel about it. The texture is really lovely and the scent is not too overpowering. However, I don't feel like I see a huge difference in my skin... Ultimune concentrate has a very light texture and hydrates the skin in a more subtle long-term way than what most might expect. It wasn't until I added the new Eudermine activating essence that I felt like I started to see a more instant difference in my skin. As it gave the skin a more immediate dose of hydration. With that said, Ultimune is geared more toward people in the ages of 25-39. It may soften fine lines caused by dryness, but won't have an impact on deep dynamic lines. I think this serum is a bit misunderstood, even by myself. It works more on strengthening the skin barrier which in turn will give you the results that Shiseido advertises. (more radiance, better hydration, and well-aging) But if you already have good skin, then all Ultimune provides is maintenance. Although I wish it did a little bit more for the price, I do see it as a great age-preventative product that provides the skin with great antioxidants and boosts its own hydration. Now that I'm closing in to my mid-thirties I am looking for a serum that does a little more. In other words, Ultimune would've been a great product to use all through my 20s up to now. Therefore I'm not too quick to dismiss it and will give it a solid four stars.

You will miss this when it’s finished
Shiseido, Ultimune, Power Infusing Concentrate 75ml. I got this concentrate from the brand as part of the tests. I used it for 4 months in the morning and evening on cleansed skin. For the first month I did not notice spectacular effects, but already in the second month my sometimes reactive complexion was soothed, less red. It was only when the concentrate ran out that I noticed that it very nicely levelled the level of sebum in the T-zone and at the same time the cheeks were not overdried. Ewenement is that you think that this product does not give much because the processes take place imperceptibly until it is missing in the care and then it turns out that the production of sebum has beautifully equalised. It is a great product and I recommend it to owners of combination skin, taking into account patience in waiting for results. The concentrate is efficient 75ml was enough for 4 months in the morning and evening, face, neck and cleavage. The packaging is also very impressive and the plus is that it is made of glass.

No obvious results
After all the great reviews and popularity of this serum I expected to see a difference in my skin. It’s a light liquid serum has a subtle delicate scent. It absorbs nicely into skin with a little tackiness on first application. I like how my foundation sits when I use this it does seem to help with a smoother finish. However I didn’t notice any difference in terms of fine lines, it is hydrating but not as much as my usual Hyaluronic acid serum. I struggled to know when you use this in my routine as it makes any serum applied on top work better however it’s slightly thicker than some so they need to be layered underneath. It just didn’t make enough of a noticeable impact for me to repurchase. It did not cause any congestion or irritation.

Great anti-ageing serum
Love this product, from a brand I like and want to use more of. It's a lightweight serum that is easily absorbed by the skin and it feels nourishing. I use this twice a day (morning and night) and I can see an improvement in the appearance of my skin. It's smoother and brighter. It's not overly expensive for 15ml and I would recommend this product.

Okay but there are much better alternatives
I bought this as I'd seen the Make Up Artist Hannah Martin recommend it several times on her Instagram but I've been left feeling disappointed. Even if you only use a little bit it still leaves skin very tacky with no particular glow or smoothing effect. I have to wait ages for it to sink in before applying moisturiser to avoid it piling Also, I can feel it on my skin, i.e. not when I'm touching my face, I can just feel it, like my skin is very slightly tingling and not in a good way! I don't have sensitive skin. I think I would have been more happy with this produce except prior to this, I was using the Dr Dennis Gross Derminfusions Fill and Repair Serum and I greatly prefer that; it glides on beautifully, makes the skin feel refreshed and appear glowy and plumped. The Shiseido serum just doesn't compare. I'll use it up as otherwise it's a waste of money, but I definitely wouldn't repurchase.
