Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous festive candle I don't usually like candles that are supposed to smell of pine or Christmas trees but this version, from Diptyque is perfect. It smells Christmassy and warm while also retaining the smell of a fresh outdoors. The perfect festive scent! The glass is so beautiful and something to keep once the candle is long gone. As the candle burns it illuminates the scene on the glass and, being a Diptyque candle, burns evenly and beautifully. I'd highly recommend for a Christmas present or a real Holiday treat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful in every way Love Diptyque candles and this didn’t disappoint from the beautiful container to the wonderful fresh smell of pine and all things Christmas. Candle is long lasting and after use the holder will be in use as a wee vase or for tea lights. Worth every penny.

The scent lingered for a quite a while, as many Diptyque candles do. I can't wait to repurchase this year, I'll be buying more as it's my favourite of all Christmas candles

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for me I purchased this Sapin de Nuit candle as a treat for myself this Christmas as I knew I was going to spend a lot of time at home. I ordered the candle online without smelling it previously, but having had other Diptyque products I had no doubt it was going to be excellent. However I was not impressed by the fragrance at all. I found the main 'pine' note quite artificial, so much so that it reminds me of air freshener or worse toilet cleaner (I was glad to notice other customers say this). I really did expect a sophisticated fragrance blend from Diptyque, and I'm afraid this doesn't cut it for me - it's just a basic pine candle with an unjustified price tag. I'm glad I only bought a travel size as I will be switching to another brand as soon as I can, although I will continue to use Baies and other Diptyque candles.

I bought the green one too and I like to light them together. They compliment each other beautifully. I guess I’ll be buying Christmas Candles from Diptyque every year now
