A dry skin must have
This is an absolute must for extremely dry skin. I have even used on people with very sensitive eczema prone skin and it has worked wonders. It helps hydrate and soothe to give a smooth canvas for makeup application. It is luxurious to use, and a little goes a long way so it will last for ages too. Well worth a try!

Skin saver
This is by far my favourite and most used primer. It is oil based serum of a very thin consistency. A little goes a long way. It does wonders for my dry, dehydrated and sensitive skin and makes almost any foundation look flawless. I hope Hourglass will never discontinue my skin saver.

So disappointing!
I love veil mineral primer and the girl in the shop said to try this one… big mistake, it leaves my skin feeling ver oily and my tinted moisturiser slides right off! The first hourglass product not to get 5 stars from me! I’ll stick with veil mineral primer in future, an expensive mistake…

New HG Primer
Having used the Laura Mercier hydrating primer for years, I found myself looking for a new primer after being disappointed with the updated version. My local Space NK store recommended the Hourglass No 28 primer serum and it is amazing, I just wish I'd found it sooner. I like my skin and makeup to look fresh, hydrated and dewy and this provides the perfect canvas, it also feels like a good skin boost after I've moisturised. That said, it's nearly double the price of the LM primer but you need the smallest amount and I like the skincare benefits it gives so I feel the price is more than justified. I really can't recommend this primer enough.

For dry skin
This is the absolute best for dry skin, it not only primes but actually makes my skin better! I honestly don't even know what I'd do without it to be honest. I pair it with the Hourglass vanish stick foundation and it's my thirsty winter-skin dream team.
