Could be great but isn't quite

I really liked the idea of an SPF specifically for my eyes and it's an added bonus to me that this is SPF 50. It is a light texture and does blend out easily. I have experienced no issue of pilling or incompatibility with any of my other skincare or makeup and have not experienced any eye irritation. Although other reviews have said you only need a small amount, there is a concern that I would not be getting full protection. This does have a tint - as someone with extremely pale skin it has been no issue for me, but given the tint and the fact it is a mineral sunscreen, I imagine this would not be great for those with darker skin tones. The biggest issue for me is how it settles into creases and fine lines. As I mostly work from home, this isn't too much of a problem, but if you plan on going out, this absolutely has to be set with some kind of powder, which then of course can make reapplication difficult later on in the day.

Finally SPF 50 for the eyes with no irritation!

This was a revelation - with very fair sensitive skin I've never been able to find a mineral SPF product that I could safely use the delicate skin of the eyelids and under eye area. I can't use chemical filters and it's hard to find great mineral SPF products that don't make me look like a 70s mime artist. It is quite opaque and pale with a neutral pinky undertone but you don't need much - think an uncooked lentil sized portion ! - but blends softly into the skin, no dragging. It works for me as a primer improving the look of my crepey eyelids but I would think it wouldn't be suitable for darker toned skins - it might leave a pale cast. If you were thinking of trying it I'd recommend testing on your skin first. The tube seems tiny for the price but you do only need a tiny amount to cover both eyes so considering the cost of other cosmetic brands of SPFs I think it's good value. I absolutely love this brand - don't stop stocking it please !

Great idea, a few "buts"...

Great idea, but a few "buts"... I'm an enthusiastic follower of the SPF cult, so I immediately lunged and bought this SPF 50 eye cream. What a brilliant idea! Firstly, credit where credit is due: the tube is packed with product, full to the brim. Thank you so much, Hello Sunday! However, the cream itself left me a little perplexed. Maybe I applied too enthusiastically and too liberally, but I found that the texture is strange: thick and turning almost into powder when I patted it in. This has caused the product to settle in my fine lines and has made them very visible (and normally, bare-skinned or made-up, they're not). Also, it doesn't leave a white cast only because the cream is slightly tinted and therefore it leaves a pinkish-beige cast. This tint is rather brightening, I'll give it that, but the setting and enhancing of lines and skin texture is a shame. Maybe it's because it's a mineral sunscreen and I'm not used to them. I'll keep using it because I bought it, because it's a great idea and I'm going to try and apply less and wait longer before I apply any foundation on top. These would be my suggestions to whoever has bought this eye cream or intends to. P.S. The Hello Sunday SPF lip balm is great! Which makes this purchase a little disappointing.

Best Use: Anti-Aging

Great concealer and sunscreen in one

This eye cream does leave a white cast but I don't mind this under the eye area as it makes it look a lot brighter and acts as a kind of concealer even when you are not wearing makeup! It also works really well under concealer or corrector under the eyes too.
