How to Apply

A well-cared for Diptyque 190g candle will burn for up to 60 hours. Your candle will burn clean and evenly down to the bottom of the glass if you burn it for at least two hours the first time - or until the whole top is liquid with wax. After blowing out your candle, centre and straighten the wick. Trim the wick to about half a centimetre long before relighting the candle. By shortening the wick you allow it to burn more slowly and avoid unsightly black smoke marks around the edge of the glass. Do not place the candle in a wind draught or directly on a glass or marble surface. Never leave a lit candle unattended. Never move or tip a lit candle. Keep out of reach of children.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Coco25 from Reminds me of holiday This is a beautiful smelling candle that takes me back to holidays in Greece. I would sometimes walk in the forest there and always remember how fresh and wonderful it smelled, just like this candle. It definitely isn't as strong as some of the other Diptyque candles but it is more subtle and a lovely one to burn in the summer.

Honey and cypress don't really conjure much up to me. But I had smelt it briefly in a shop and remembered it stood out, so that and the good reviews plus it being a little less predicable than other choices encouraged me to buy it. It is lovely, not xmas tree piney like some other reviews have said but more like a hot day combined with tree resin and herbs. Complex. Beautiful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Molyneux from Gorgeous scent This is the first time I’ve bought this particular scent and whilst I really love its warm woody yet clean and slightly resinous scent I feel it isn’t as strong as some of the other Diptyque candles I’ve had previously and doesn’t fill the room quite as well.
