D.S. & Durga Pistachio is crafted in small batches by hand in the US from balsams, resins, plant oils and premium perfume ingredients.

Unusual
I was very sceptical to begin with when I tested this, especially as the immediate smell is a bit strong and odd and hard to pin down. But after a few minutes I found that it dried down into a wonderfully unusual and nutty but sweet aroma which really drew me in and felt unique and unusual. Saying that though, it’s not quite as sweet as you expect and also not quite as nutty as you expect, it’s just really intriguing and different and warm and I loved it on my skin. Of course, it may not work well on other people’s skin chemistry and as I said, initially I have to battle with it because I don’t love how it smells straight out of the bottle but a few minutes later the results are really gorgeous and delicious. Definitely a grower and probably not for everyone. But if it works for your skin, you won’t regret it and you certainly won’t smell like everyone else!

New favourite scent
I am not sure why there were a few bad review but I love this. It obviously is a gourmand so it is sweet but I do not find it sickly sweet at all. It is more of a realistic pistachio than a artificial type so it does have a slight earthiness to it which I like and it balances out the sweeter creamy notes well. The longevity and projection is excellent I can smell it on my coat and scarf for 2-3 days after spraying so I think it is worth the price. Pistachio is in the top, middle and base of the perfume so to me it does smell of pistachio. obviously try before buying

Unique scent
Many people are reveiwing this product poorly, however I disagree. I do beleive the price of this fragerence is rather deer, but the projection and performnce is subline. I find the aroma of this fragerence to be very unique and pleasant. I find this makes its ideal as a sginature scent. Aswell as this, I found it lasted on my wrist all day, illuminating its scent throughout.

ODD NAME
I don't understand why this is called Pistachio when I get nothing pistachio-y from it, not even anything nutty. Seems too misleading all round, luckily I got to try it before purchase and realised it was not that special at all, especially for the price. I understand that sometimes names are not descreptive but this is misleading.

Sickly sweet
I really wanted to like this perfume, but it's just sickly sweet. I enjoyed the initial scent on my wrist and round my neck, but within an hour I actually felt sick from the sweet smell. It felt like I had just been eating cake nonstop for hours. People close to me commented I smelt nice initially but then after a wee while it was too much! Perhaps "less is more" on this perfume if you enjoy the smell - one spray will be plenty!
