Not for me
I have purchased many perfumes without smelling them first, without issue. I’d heard good things about this brand, and did my research into which perfume I wanted to purchase. I chose ‘Sunny Side Up’ because of the scent notes, good reviews (on other websites) and loved the bottle design! However, this perfume, along with having strong notes of sandlewood and vanilla, also gave me headaches and nausea every time I wore it. In doing some research, I suspect it may be because of the ambroxan used in this brand. Anyway it’s the first time it’s ever happened to me with a perfume so I’m not too worried, but it’s unfortunate I’ll have to give this brand a miss going forward.

Layering
I bought this perfume with the hope of layering it with other scents but it’s also really nice on its own. To me this smells like vanilla with a hint of tropical flowers, it’s very similar to the “vanilla vibes” from this range but it’s a bit more complex and beachy. As with other perfumes from this brand, there is a strong cetalox base which is quite masculine and clean. It’s still a feminine leaning perfume in my opinion though

Smells like coconut
To me this smells like a fresh woody coconut. It must be the sandalwood as this sometimes smells like creamy coconut to me. It depends on my body chemistry some days I can smell it more than others and it changes on different days which is probably the ambroxan. It’s a very unique scent but I love it as a coconut fan!
