What was in the Space NK advent calendar for 2023

Wet Lip Oil Gloss, £ 20,00

“My favourite product from this year’s advent calendar is the full-size Kosas Wet Lip Oil Gloss. I am obsessed with this brand! Not only is the colour pay off impeccable, but the gloss is also a treatment, so I feel like I’m really looking after my lips when I use this. I always get a couple of compliments too!” – Lauren Watts, Digital Content Assistant

Kate Somerville

Goat Milk Moisturizing Cleanser, £ 38,00

“There are so many skincare stars in this year’s calendar, but Kate Somerville’s Goat’s Milk Cleanser saves my skin every winter. A deliciously buttery texture that cleans and cocoons the skin; my sensitive skin barrier loves the additional nourishment this provides before I go in with my actives. Central heating and cold winds are no match for this icon. Highly recommend pairing this with a Foreo Sonic Cleanser for an indulgent in-shower facial!” – Ashlee Severin, Internal Social Media & Training Coordinator

Luminous Dewy Skin Mist, £ 48,00

“I am obsessed with the Tatcha Mist! Not only is the packaging stunning and luxurious, but the formula smells incredible and is perfect for boosting my skin’s hydration levels in the morning, as well as refreshing my makeup mid-afternoon.” – Yasmin Ali, Digital Content Coordinator

Summer Fridays

Jet Lag Mask, £ 26,00

“I use Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask whenever my complexion has had a rough day, is suffering from dry patches or is feeling irritated, but could do with some overnight hydration. I love it, as I know it will never upset my skin!” – Vanessa Zaree, Brand Copywriter

The Body Serum Fragrance Free, £ 46,00

“This Nécessaire Body Serum is amazing! I mix it with the Body Lotion and together they leave me with the most supple and hydrated skin. It’s a must-have for sensitive skin as they’re so gentle but so moisturising and doesn’t feel heavy at all.” – Eva Miah, Creative Production Coordinator

Boy Smells

Hinoki Fantôme Scented Candle, £ 44,00

“I love nothing more than lighting a candle on a long winter night and this is an absolute favourite. All Boy Smells candles have excellent throw and are excellent value, but the pairing of exotic hinoki and cardamon notes along with the fresh jasmine and moss, marry together to make the perfect candle.” – George Stuart Monk, Senior Digital Designer

Rose Gold Illuminating Eye Mask box, £ 80,00

“What did l do before I discovered the 111 Skin Rose Gold Illuminating Eye Masks?! Goodbye dark circles and hello rejuvenated and glowing skin. A must for anyone who doesn’t get (yet needs) their eight hours sleep a night…” – Katie Battersby, Head of Learning Development & Culture

JVN Hair

Complete Instant Recovery Serum, £ 12,00

“I genuinely love this frizz-smoothing serum. I use it on damp hair to boost shine and utilise the heat protection it provides, and I also use it when my hair’s dry to smooth flyaways. Unlike a lot of serums, it doesn’t have that sticky feeling and it doesn’t make my hair feel greasy.” – Kristy Barrett, Print Designer

Lip Sleeping Mask, £ 21,00

“Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask is a saviour, especially in the winter months. My skin is already on the drier side, so when temperatures dip, I am desperate for anything to help my skin and lips stay hydrated and smooth. I’m thrilled that it’s included in the Space NK beauty advent calendar this year!” – Joseph Wright, Trade Marketing Coordinator

Farmacy Beauty

Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm, £ 24,00

“I'm super excited about the Farmacy Beauty Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm as I've tried it before, and it removes makeup and SPF easily without drying out my skin.” – Kirsten Merritt, Senior Digital Marketing Coordinator

Milk Makeup

Hydro Grip Makeup Setting Spray, £ 20,00

Confession Ultra Slim High Intensity Refillable Lipstick, £ 35,00

“There’s a lot of great stuff in this year’s beauty advent calendar, but I’m most excited about the Hourglass lipstick. I had one a couple of years ago and loved the finish it gave my lips and the refillable aspect of the packaging.” – Rebz Green, Product Designer

Color Wow

Dream Coat Supernatural Spray, N/A

“This is a lifesaver for anyone with thick, frizzy hair. Not only does it speed up the blow-drying time, but it also repels water, so if you’re caught out in the British drizzle, you won’t get that halo of frizz.” – Victoria Hall, Beauty Editor

Bread Beauty Supply

Hair-Oil: Everyday Gloss, £ 13,00

“It’s tricky to choose just one product from this year’s beauty advent calendar because I really do feel like this is the best one yet, but I am super happy that Bread Beauty Supply is in there. Drunk Elephant

Lala Retro Whipped Cream, £ 58,00

“I don’t think Drunk Elephant's Lala Retro Whipped Cream gets nearly enough attention considering how good it is. I can use it all year round without my skin feeling too dry in the winter or too oily in the summer. I don’t understand why people use anything else.” – Georgina Howe, Marketing & Events Coordinator

Precision Colour Pencil, £ 19,00

“As a brand 19/99 gets a lot of attention on social media, so I’m super excited to try the Colour Precision Pencil in Neutra. The gentle terracotta shade will lend itself to several TikTok makeup trends that I’m eager to tap into.” – Olivia Chenery, Social Media Coordinator

Rare Beauty

Perfect Strokes Matte Liquid Liner, £ 20,00

“A good liquid liner is highly pigmented, doesn’t drag your eyelid, and stays in place without smudging or fading. I’ve heard good things about Rare Beauty’s liquid liner and cannot wait to put it to the test!” – Eleanor Middleton, Senior Marketing Manager

Paula's Choice

10% Azelaic Acid Booster, £ 40,00

“This is one of those products that has been very tricky to get your hands on this year, so I think the Space NK beauty advent calendar is worth the investment for a full-size Paula’s Choice Azelaic Booster alone! The formula is famed for keeping breakouts at bay, so I can’t wait to give it a go.” – April Clayton, Social Media Manager

Crystal Retinal 6, £ 69,00

How to reuse your Space NK advent calendar

What do you do with a beauty advent calendar after you’ve opened the doors and discovered all of the beauty products inside? This year’s Space NK beauty advent calendar can be fully recycled, you just need to empty the contents, fold it up and put it in your recycling bin. We also recommend considering ways you could reuse your advent calendar. Here are some suggestions for reusing your Space NK advent calendar:

Gift-wrapping and decorations: You can use the individual boxes as gift boxes for beauty products, small toys and stocking fillers. You could also cut out gift tags to elevate your wrapping paper. Depending on your scissor skills, you could also cut out Christmas decorations for your tree.

Make your own: If you can store the advent calendar in a dry space, you could use it to make your own advent calendar for 2024 and fill it with beauty products, chocolate, small trinkets… you name it.

Eco-friendly organisers: Whether you’re looking to tidy your desk or your makeup stash, why not use the advent calendar boxes as organisers. The boxes can be stacked to save space too!
