Our Beauty Editor’s Honest Review Of Tula Cooling And Brightening Eye Balm
With over 20 years of experience within the world of probiotics, Dr. Raj wanted to incorporate the power of good bacteria into skincare to deliver real results. The Tula Rose Glow & Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm is just one of Dr. Raj’s products that people go wild for, but if like me you’re new to the brand, it is the perfect place to start.
Top Line On Tula Rose Glow & Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm
Before we get into it I want to clarify the difference between this Tula Skincare Rose Glow & Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm, £28.00 (I’ve been calling it the pink eye balm) and the OG Tula Skincare Glow & Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm, £26.00 AKA the blue one. The latter is easily one of Tula’s most renowned products. Jam-packed with hyaluronic acid, it’s a cooling, calming, brightening balm that hydrates and revives your eye area. The Tula Skincare Rose Glow & Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm, £28.00 goes one step further with soothing rosewater and rosehip oil. It also doubles up a highlighter for those who like a very minimal makeup look.
Everything You Need To Know About Tula Rose Glow & Get It Eye Balm
There is something incredibly therapeutic about using this eye balm both first thing in the morning and last thing at night. The cooling formula helps to smooth and refresh tired eyes without leaving the area feeling saturated with product. As a contact lens wearer, I find some eye creams too rich, but this is definitely not one of those.
The lightweight texture lends itself to pretty much all skin types and makes it super quick to use as the formula absorbs within seconds of applying. If your eyes feel puffy in the mornings, you’ll definitely benefit from this balm, and you could potentially leave it in the fridge for an extra cooling boost.
I’ve been swiping this balm under my eyes, along the socket line, and gently tapping it in every morning before applying my concealer. You can apply it over makeup throughout the day and thanks to the rose quartz hue, it’s works as a subtle highlighter too along your cheek and brow bones.
The Verdict On Tula Rose Glow & Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm
This is hands down one of the best eye products I’ve ever used. It’s lightweight yet hydrating and is so quick and easy to use. I think Tula Rose Glow & Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm, and the blue eye balm, are great options for anyone who wants a straightforward minimalist routine. They’re both also very good for anyone who doesn’t enjoy heavy creams.
The potential drawback is that anyone with super dry skin might not find this balm nourishing enough in that cocooning way. Don’t worry, you can still tap into Tula as Dr. Raj has covered every preference and skin type with her eye products too.
More On Tula
There is plenty more to explore with Tula. I highly recommend taking the Tula Skincare 24-7 Moisture Hydrating Day & Night Cream, £23.00 for a spin if you have dry to combination skin – the texture feels so luxe and absorbs into skin effortlessly, feeling like a second (but-more-hydrated) skin. Being doctor-led and powered by probiotics, Tula has a wide range of cleansers depending on your texture preference and skin type. Each are focused on cleansing without stripping your skin of essential bacteria and oils. There’s also the very impressive Tula Skincare Brightening Treatment Drops Triple Vitamin C Serum, £44.00, which I predict many Space NK customers will be intrigued by – and rightly so by all accounts.
