AmikaPerk Up Dry Shampoo, £20
The Iconic Dry Shampoo
This talc-free dry shampoo actually leaves your hair feeling like it’s had a water-free wash, which is great if you're trying to delay wash day. It also adds volume so nicely recreates the feeling of first day hair and doesn't dry out locks. The absolute best bit? Zero white marks.
AmikaFlash Instant Shine Mask, £20
The standout product, in my opinion. Rather than coating the hair in silicones as so many shine masks often do, the Flash Instant Shine Mask delivers such a hit of intense moisture that it leaves your hair super shiny. It’s worth noting that it doesn’t replace your deep conditioner. Instead, it acts as a final step: much like wearing setting spray on top of great makeup.
AmikaThe Kure Intense Bond Repair Mask, £28
The Weekly Hair Transformer
This treatment is rather genius as the formula tracks down the vulnerable bonds in the hair, so it’ll stop breakage in its tracks, which is especially important in curly and Afro hair. The added fatty acids and plant butters mean it delivers shine, moisture and promotes long term hair health, which I loved. It did a great job after one use, but use it weekly for the best results.
AmikaThe Wizard Detangling Primer, £20
The ‘Does Eveything’ Spray
This multitasking wonder eliminates the need for multiple products in your routine. I used it on freshly washed damp hair, and while it’s a great detangler, it’s also the perfect base for a blow-dry as it offers heat protection and smooths strands so that drying time is quicker. It also has a lovely scent which lingers even after a blow-dry.
AmikaThe Closer Instant Repair Cream, £12
The Hair Smoother
This lightweight styling product works just as well on straight hair as it does on curly hair or a silky blow dry, as it makes all hair types feel sleeker overall. The sweet but not sickly vanilla scent is lovely, too. If your hair is normal and not in need of any miracle help, this is excellent for maintenance.
