“There are billions of us, each with layered, intersectional identities and experiences. Part of my mission with Kulfi is to create space that reflects even a small part of that nuance,” Priyanka tells us exclusively. “There’s no one way to look South Asian, no single story to tell. That’s why we partner with different creators and voices—to show that South Asian beauty is expansive, personal, and always defined on our own terms.”
Community is central to Kulfi and Priyanka is always using customer feedback to help shape the brand’s product offering. “We’re not just here to sell makeup (though we make great makeup); we’re creating a space where people feel seen, celebrated, and like they can be that girl on their own terms,” Priyanka says. “Even now, so much of beauty is still about fitting into a narrow ideal. At Kulfi, we’re saying: come as you are - and know that’s more than enough.”
