Luxurious packaging is one of the (many) joys of beauty shopping, but unless it’s recyclable, refillable or re-usable, that gorgeous jar is going straight to landfill. According to the British Beauty Council, 95% of cosmetic packaging is thrown away and of the 14% that makes it to the recycling plant, only 9% is actually recycled. The rest heads to landfill.

We want to make recycling your beauty products as easy as possible, so we've partnered with Handle. All you need to do is pop into your local Space NK store and pick up a bag, fill it up with of your empties and drop it off in store. We accept the beauty products you've bought from us and elsewhere.

Opting for refillable products where possible is a great way to make your beauty routine more sustainable. Refillable packaging tends to use up less plastic and you’ll still get to enjoy the original packaging while saving money and being environmentally friendly.
