Medik8Crystal Retinal 3, £49
Best Vitamin A Serum
Medik8 is perhaps most well-known for its retinoid products and the Crystal Retinal 3 contains a 0.03% dose of encapsulated retinaldehyde which provides all the skin-boosting benefits of retinol (the umbrella term, read our guide to retinoids, retinal and retinol here) without the irritation. Medik8 recommends using vitamin C in the morning and vitamin A in the evening. Crystal Retinal 3 is a good starting point for vitamin A beginners. If you have used the ingredient before, you can jump to Crystal Retinal 6.
Medik8Hydr8 B5 Intense, £20
Best Hyaluronic Acid Serum
Hyaluronic acid is a hydrating heavyweight, and the best serums contains several molecular weights for long-lasting hydration, like this one from Medik8. What we love about this particular hyaluronic acid serum though is its non-sticky, featherlight texture. Whether you want to apply it on its own before your face cream or add a couple of drops into your foundation, you won’t be disappointed with how soft and supple your skin feels after. You can trial Medik8's hyaluronic acid with the 8ml bottle for £20.
Medik8Super C Ferulic, £59
Best Vitamin C Serum
There are a lot of vitamin C serums on the market, and this is easily one of our favourites because it contains a potent dose of ethylated ascorbic acid (pure vitamin C) to help ease dark spots. The addition of ferulic acid provides antioxidant protection against environmental aggressors. It’s worth noting that this vitamin C serum leaves your skin feeling dry rather than greasy and sits well under face creams and SPFs.
Medik8Advanced Night Restore, £59
Best Nourishing Face Cream
If you’re regularly using active ingredients in your skincare routine, you need to invest in a high-quality face cream that is going to replenish and restore your skin barrier. This formula is packed full of peptides, ceramides and hyaluronic acid to soothe and hydrate.
Medik8H.E.O Mask, £57
Best Hydrating Face Mask
Medik8 H.E.O Mask is a two-step hydrating face mask designed to help soften and smooth your skin. While the blue gel helps to draw water into the skin with the help of hyaluronic acid and glycerin, the cream is packed full of squalane and ceramides to strengthen your skin barrier and lock in the hydration.
