I’ve never had any lip filler or cosmetic treatments to plump my lips – and whilst it’s not something I rule out in the future, I’m mostly happy with my lips’ natural shape. However, I’m no stranger to lip plumping products. I’ve been testing and trialling different kinds for years.

My first thought on Dr. Dennis Gross DermInfusions Plump + Repair Lip Treatment, £46.00 was how nice the texture was – super creamy without being too thick and surprisingly not sticky. Personally, I found the tingling extremely minimal, but this could be due to my lips being used to lip plumping products.

In terms of immediate results, the difference was quite subtle, but it did last for a few hours. There are quite a few other benefits that I enjoyed. Firstly, I have very dry lips and this product has a wonderfully hydrating effect that would last for hours on end (it does boast four different weights of hyaluronic acid). I’d say it helped my lips look smoother too.

I’m a regular lipstick wearer, and it sat perfectly under my liquid lipstick formulas (and gave my bullet lipsticks a nice glossy effect). I also found myself reapplying it during the day if I didn’t want to reapply full-on colour but felt like a glossy finish.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve used the Dr Dennis Gross lip plumper eight or nine times, so I think it’s fair to say I’ll keep using it. Personally, I loved pairing it with just lip liner – and I’d be curious to try it with the DRx SpectraLite™ LipWare Pro.

Lip filler is something I might consider in the future, but I feel my lips are plump enough naturally, I was intrigued to see what Dr Dennis Gross DermInfusions™ Plump + Repair Lip Treatment could do though as I’ve used quite a few products from the range, and they’ve all delivered great results.

Within 30 seconds of applying the lip plumping product, I started to feel a tingly sensation. It wasn’t uncomfortable or painful, in fact, I quite liked the sensation as it felt like something was happening. After about two minutes of using it, I noticed a difference in plumpness and colour. I have quite naturally pale lips and Dr Dennis Gross’ lip plumper brought out a lovely pink hue.

I’d say the results lasted for about 30 minutes for me, so I did reapply throughout the day. While some people might find this off-putting, I’m always applying lipstick and lip balms anyways. I really liked the super glossy finish and my lips felt very hydrated with fine lines smoothed. I haven’t left the house without the lip treatment since I started reviewing it, which is very a good sign.

Vanessa and Georgina both noticed plumper results, albeit of varying degrees. They also both commented of the extra benefits of Dr. Dennis Gross DermInfusions Plump + Repair Lip Treatment, £46.00, including hydrated lips and a pinker tone. While Dr Dennis Gross DermInfusions™ Plump + Repair Lip Treatment won’t give you the same results as lip filler (no over the counter product will), it is a good option for those who want a non-invasive way to achieve fuller-looking lips.
