Vanessa’s Ultra Violette Future Fluid Mineral SPF50 Review
• Skin type: Oily, sometimes dehydrated
• The product: Ultra Violette Future Fluid SPF50+ Superlight Mineral Skinscreen™, £38.00

I’m wholeheartedly an SPF enthusiast – in fact, an SPF addict might be a more accurate description. I wear it religiously every single day of the year and genuinely love doing so – moreover, I’m always on the lookout for a new favourite formula.
I will always wear a sunscreen rather than relying solely on a different kind of product, such as a moisturiser or foundation, that has SPF. I also don’t have a preference between chemical and mineral formulas; my main goal is for the sunscreen to sit well with and not pile over my many skincare products and under my makeup!
Ultra Violette is probably one of my favourite suncare brands (I’d almost go as far as saying that it was the brand that truly got me into SPF), and I absolutely love Queen Screen. Admittedly, this rich, glow-giving formula is probably not the best for my oily and congested complexion – so when I heard about all the potential benefits of Future Fluid, I was extremely excited. Mineral formulas are generally considered a better choice for those with oily and acne-prone skin, making Future Fluid a possibly great option for my skin type.

I can confirm that it was love at first swipe. The ‘Superlight’ reference is very accurate – the texture is incredibly light and sort of feels like a serum. I couldn’t spot any scent, and I absolutely loved how weightless it felt on my skin. It leaves a lovely sheen; I’d say it definitely made my skin look better and dewy (but not greasy).
Most importantly, it worked wonderfully with my skincare and makeup – I had zero piling and balling issues. I’ve tried it with different moisturisers and foundations, and so far, so good!
I don’t want to get ahead of myself as I haven’t been using it for very long, but I’ve been loving it and may have found my new favourite SPF. Whilst I can’t fault it at the moment, I do wonder how it would sit on darker skin tones given that it’s a mineral formula and has a soft beige-like tint. That would be my only hesitation when it came to recommending it – it might be worth trying it in-store. But, if like me you have oily or sensitive skin and love a super lightweight texture that feels soothing on the skin, you might love this as much as I do!
Charlotte’s Ultra Violette Future Fluid Mineral SPF50 Review
• Skin type: Sensitive/dry
• The product: Ultra Violette Future Fluid SPF50+ Superlight Mineral Skinscreen™, £38.00

My skin is sensitive and dry but can get oily in the warmer weather so I not only loved how lightweight this feels but that even though it leaves skin radiant, it isn't too glowy - which can be a concern if you have oilier skin in summer.
I found it really easy to blend in and it didn't feel "chalky" like a lot of mineral SPFs. There was no sticky or tackiness to it either and while it has a slight SPF smell when you apply it, it faded fast and wasn’t offensive. It also sank in fast with no marks, although I am very pale.

I usually use a synthetic SPF with a slight tint - something that adds a bit of a glow and perfects my skin just a bit, so the only thing I’d say is that I’d have preferred it to offer slightly more coverage and perfecting qualities, but because it's easy to layer on makeup afterwards, I don't mind so much.
I think I’ll use it a lot throughout summer and I’d definitely recommend it. My only watch out would be, if you have a darker skin tone then I don't know whether the pigment could leave a bit of a cast on the skin so definitely worth trying it if you can!
